[edit] OSM and multi-language

I've maped some roads in Wilhelmshaven. On Thursday this should be online. Take a look at this!

I found a way for multi-languages at OSM.org for critical mass. Template:KeyDescription at wiki.openstreetmap.org produce a link to translated pages. This works in the following way (example Key:railway):

• english site is Key:railway
• german site is De:Key:railway

The template checks if there is a site with cc:name. (two-letter-countrycode + sitename) I tried this at Berlin and De:Berlin. This does not work with other words as orginal article name. Bike and De:Fahrrad and Nl:fiets does not work! (not for automated template) But: Bike and De:Bike and Nl:Bike. --Bahnpirat 12:03, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
