My name is Richard Kimberley, from Staffordshire, currently cycling with the Cycle Change Convoy from Australia to Denmark to encourage action on climate change. I am coordinating the UK events of the Ride Planet Earth campaign, a world-wide cycling/climate action.

Ride Planet Earth culminates on 6th Dec 09 when, in cities, towns and villages around the world, cyclists will be taking to the streets to demonstrate the capacity and willingness of ordinary people to take action on climate change. We will also be urging our governmental leaders meeting the next day in Copenhagen to take the necessary action as well. We currently have rides taking place across the globe but so far only a limited number in the UK (eg London, Edinburgh). We would like to increase UK particpation.
