Bicycle Film Festival poster, New York 2008

The Bicycle Film Festival takes place every year in several cities around the world and is a celebration of the bicycle. The BFF features all styles of bicycles and cycling such as Tall Bikes, Alleycats, Critical Mass or Bike Polo. [1]

Since 2001 [2] it has happend in many cities including New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Chicago, Toronto, Portland, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Vienna, London, Barcelona, Roma, Milan, Sydney, Melbourne and Tokyo.

Critical Mass films

  • Criminal Mass, a Critical Mass film documentary by Christopher Ryan had its premier at the BFF in New York City.

2007[]

In 2007 the BFF took place in 15 cities around the world. It happend for the first time in Vienna, Austria organized by the IG Fahrrad. The other cities were New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Chicago, Toronto, Portland, Minneapolis, San Francisco, London, Roma, Milan, Sydney, Melbourne and Tokyo. Barcelona had cancelled the event in 2007 but the organizers announces to held it again in 2008 [3].

Critical Mass films

  • In Vienna a film about Vienna Critical Mass was presented, "Critical Carneval Mass" by Heidi Hu. [4]

In 2008 17 cities host the BFF: New York, Toronto, Minneapolis, LA, SF, Chicago, Boston, Tokyo, Austin, London, Vienna, Zurich, Paris, Sydney, Melbourne, Milano, Portland.
